Overview: Forvis Mazars is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join our Private Client team in Kansas City, MO. Our Private Client tax advisors provide high-level tax compliance, consulting, and planning services to individuals, families, and fiduciaries. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced tax professional to serve as a trusted advisor and member of our client service teams.
Responsibilities: - Provide tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, trusts, estates, and private foundations - Develop and manage client relationships through the proposal process - Participate in networking activities to expand business opportunities and client relationships - Coach and mentor tax staff - Review returns prepared by tax associates and seniors - Delegate responsibilities and monitor engagement teams - Utilize technology tools to improve work processes - Conduct research on complex tax issues and communicate findings in writing
Qualifications: - Minimum 7 years of experience in public accounting, law firm, or trust department - Bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field - CPA license or J.D. degree and bar admission - Experience managing multiple client engagements
